MorningCalm Magazine (Korean Air): One Patty, One Love

MorningCalm Street Foods

Postcard of The Day: Rainy Days

c30-DSC_0617 copy.jpg

It’s been raining almost every single day here in western Jamaica, even though it’s not the season for it. At night the air is cool and lovely, but I can’t sleep without my blanket.

My camera has remained tucked away for the most part these past couple of weeks, partly due to the rain and partly from a need to rest and regroup. And when I do carry it, I’m slow to pull it out – I’m stopping and smelling the flowers more than ever, and noticing what’s washing up on the shores, like this beautiful starfish… it lay there for a minute before it washed away again.

Spring always seems to bring about change, doesn’t it?
