Postcard of the Week: Lunch Break in Paris La Défense
As I sort through my library of images from the past eight years plus of travels, uploading postcards to my upcoming photography print store, I’ll be sharing and shuffling shots from some of my favorite spots — like this one from Paris, one of my favorite cities of all time, one I used to visit almost every year.
Besides its more typical landmarks, namely the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, Paris has other impressive neighborhoods. One of my favorites is the business district of La Defense. Plenty of offices, malls and of course, people watching on the massive plaza’s steps or benches.
Bonus Postcards: Museums Abroad (#FriFotos)
A few museum scenes from my travels and from home of course (Washington DC, also known as museum land). I can’t seem to find my images from the Prado or the Louvre, it’s been a long week on the heels of TBEX and I’ve been struck by some sort of post-trip exhaustion!
The most special of these visits for me was to the small but moving Maroon Museum in Accompong Town, Jamaica.
