You’ve all heard of Punta Cana and even Puerto Plata — but do you know about Constanza?
A town over 4,000 feet above sea level–the highest altitude to be inhabited in the Caribbean — hiking in lush national parks and cloud forests, staring into a horizon of pine trees, vegetable farms and flower plantations as far as the eye can see, tasting fresh strawberries and warming up by the chimney in a mountain lodge. It is, without doubt, one of the most unique places to visit in the region.
