Postcard Of The Day: Caye Caulker’s “Split”

It was a near-perfect day in Caye Caulker this past Friday. I decided to shake off my flu by taking a dip – and the best place for that is the “Split” end of the island.

I forgot how beautiful it is there. When you live on Caye Caulker, you take what’s in front of you for granted. You keep saying “tomorrow I’ll swim” and it just never happens. I plan to remind myself not to take any of Belize for granted for the remainder of my stay. Besides, going offline and having a lazy day is sometimes just what the doctor ordered!
